Robotics Workshop:
Robots… what a creation!! That term itself induces a craving to possess them. Aren't there numerous instances in our life where we wanted to get our hands on this entity, understand it, and modify it, suitable to our personal desires? And how many times did we watch the film "I, Robot", empathizing ourselves in its world, astounded by its futuristic portray of purely robotized life? In the deepest parts of our mind we all have a certain captivation towards these humanoids… Here's a wonderful opportunity for all those die-hard robotics fans to design and manufacture your own robot. The workshop will teach you the nuances of robotics and the required guidelines to prepare your own robot.
Details:
Registration fee of Rs.6000/- per team. No. of members per team-1-5.
The workshop is organized by ARK Technosystems in collaboration with IIT kharagpur, which in turn provides the certificates for all the participants.
Each team will get a kit containing all the Hardware and Software needed.

Aqua Race:
"We never know the worth of water till the well is dry."
Don't worry there's plenty of water here. All you have to do is to prepare a strong robot, which ships its way across the blue waves and cross the finish line in the earliest time possible. Meanwhile, let's see how many titanics we are going to get out of this beautiful water race.
problem statement:
Prepare a floating robot which can be propelled forward so as to complete the race course in minimum time
Rules and regulations:
1.The potential difference between any two points should not be greater than 12v
2.Each team can consist of 4 individuals (maximum)
3.Three trials are given to the participating teams
4.The mean of the best two chances are taken for the final result
5.If the robot capsizes at any point in the race course the chance gets terminated
6.The team cannot touch the robot during the race course and if the robot gets out of control then the chance gets terminated
7.There is no constraint on the weight of the robot
8.If the robot dimensions cross the limits specified then the team is disqualified
9.The teams are not to resort of physical or verbal duels in case of any discrepancies which will be resolved by the organizing team
10.The team with the lowest average time wins the event
11.The judgment of the organizers is final and and abiding to all.
12.Dimensions of the robot: 30*25 cms length and breadth respectively
Dimensions of the race course: A rectangle by dimensions 5*5 meters length and breadth respectively
Registration Fee:
Rs 200/- for a team of 2-4.

Robosoccer:
"See the conquering team comes,Sound the trumpets and beat the drums..."
Join this miniature FIFA with your pack of artificial intelligence humanoids, kick the ball, score the goal, outwit all your striking opponents, and emerge as a blazing winner. Start pushing your lazy Bots this minute and get them to practice seriously, for all their fans are all awaiting a fresh, eye feasting soccer game.
Rules:
- The robot can be wired or wireless controlled
- Each team can consist of 4 members (max)
- The dimensions of the robot should not exceed 30*25 cm
- There are 2 rounds. First the preliminary round for which all the qualified teams are eligible and for the next round the teams will be selected on basis of their performance in the preliminary round
- The judgment of the organizers is final and abiding to all

All-Terrain Race:
Well, it might not be race against time, but it's definitely race against obstacles. The hills are going somewhere, they have been on the way a long time, you cannot move them, so start fuelling your robot, to prepare it for a long stressful journey ahead. Mind you! Be aware of the dangers! Once you fall, you will have hell of a time raising your little one!
Problem Statement :
Each competing team must design and prepare a manually operated bot which is required to travel through a series of different terrains like mud, gravel, grass etc. A series of check points will be laid on the path through which the bot has to travel.

Line Follower:
Wait!! Don't think it's just another blah blah about following lines. One thing, you may come face to face with a little complex line design. Your bot may get confused in this never ending maze; it may go blind in the middle, trespass into other territory, stop abruptly in its tracks...oomph. too many hurdles for such a tiny tot. So start rejuvenating your little kid and test it in this refreshing event.
Rules:
- The robot must be autonomous and it is not to be controlled in any way which will result in immediate disqualification of the team
- Each team can consist of 3 members (max)
- Computers will not be provided and thus for the teams who wish to configure their bots at the venue, they have to bring their own laptops
- The dimensions of the robot should not exceed 30*30 cm
- Each team will be given 2 trials and the best time will be taken into account for the judgment
- There are 2 rounds. First the preliminary round for which all the qualified teams are eligible and for the next round the teams will be selected on basis of their performance in the preliminary round
- The judgment of the organizers is final and abiding to all

Step Climber:
"Stepping bots to success"
To pave your way to the highest summit, you need to tread on warily right from the lowest point. Place your foot, step by step, instead of stumbling upon two steps at a time. It differentiates you from all your counterparts and highlights you in your path of acute competition. Teach your robot this simple truth, assist it throughout its endeavours and stand out as a fruitful winner.
Problem Statement: Each competing team must design and build a manually operated bot which is required to ascend and descend a staircase in the least possible time.
Rules:
1.The dimensions of the bot must not exceed 30x30x30cm 2.The maximum potential difference between any two points in the circuit should not exceed 12V. 3.Team should contain not more than 4 members 4.Bot may be wired or remote controlled 5.Decision of the organisers is final and abiding to all

Sumo-Bot:
"Stepping bots to Fight"
Problem Statement:
The main aim of this is very similar to the Japanese sport SUMO WRESTLING. In this you are required to make a robot capable of pushing out the opponent’s robot out of the boundary in specified time limit without allowing your robot to cross the boundary
Rules:
- Weight limit- 10 kg
- Max Power supply- 12 v
- The team can consist of 4 members (max)
- There will be only one trial for each team
- The time limit for each trial is 10 min
- The participants are not allowed to touch the robot during the duel
- The participating teams can choose their own mode of lifting and pushing mechanisms
- The dimensions of the bot should not exceed 80*80 cm
- If the robot crosses the boundary then it will be declared loser and the opponent will be declared the winner
- If both the robots cross the boundary simultaneously then the one with the minimum dimensions will be declared the winner
- The robot should be thrown out of the arena completely. Mere touching the line will not result in losing the match
- The judgment of the organizers is final and abiding to all
Dimensions of the arena: It is a circle of 2 meters in diameter
